I have had my teeth cleanings, caps and fillings done at Dr. Davidson's over the years and I just love him and all of the staff. It is rare and wonderful to have people truly caring, patient and concerned in situations that usually involve pain and discomfort.
About Hygienist: The Dental Hygienist (both) are wonderful. They do a great job cleaning my teeth. Very timely and friendly. Remember things about you and your family from visit to visit. They also do a great job teaching about maintaining your teeth between visits.

Dr. Davidson is amazingly friendly - he put me completely at ease, was exceedingly personable, and made going to the dentist an almost pleasurable experience. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

I was actually referred to Dr. Davidson by another Dentist located in Abington. I was hesitant because the Dentist I was seeing was excellent and I figured, anyone else wouldn't be as good. I was so pleased to find out that Dr. Davidson is so wonderful. He is pleasant, soft spoken, hums alot, gentle and doesn't hurt. I even had a cap put in and whereas typically my gum needs an adjustment period, I had no problem. I would and have already highly recommended Dr. Davidson!
About Hygienist: I love my hygenist, she teaches and does an excellent job cleaning my teeth---I will have to let you know her name.

Dr. Joel rocks! Beyond excellent. Great at his work, kind, nice, gentle, honest, fair, and understanding. Susan (office manager) is also fabulous. His office is not a 'typical' dentist office (like Deme in Philadelphia) where the employees and the dentist are more interested in how much money they can charge you , get you to spend on services that you do not need, and charge your insurance company as often anad as much as possible..

My mother and father (who used to practice dentistry himself) and I all go to Dr. Davidson. I highly recommend Dr. Davidson to anyone!
About Hygienist: His hygienist are always wonderful, kind and extremely gentle, especially Betty.

Dr. Davidson is the "gentle dentist". His staff people are extremely nice. You feel as comfortable as one can feel in a dental office when you are in this dental office.

The Doctor is very soft-spoken and immediately puts you at ease. He explained everything he was doing while he was working. He also is very congenial and is always ready with something funny or soothing to say. The hygenists are gentle and good-mannered as well. I have never had any issues with Dr. Davidson's office.

I used to go to Dr. Davidson when I lived in Center City, and I really liked him. His hygienists are great, and he's very likeable. (He actually hums when he's looking at your teeth.) He spends a good amount of time with you and makes sure you understand everything you need to know -- gives you a chance to ask all your questions. I highly recommend him. So did the friend who referred me to him. His office staff is great, too.
