She is absolutely excellent. And, you can trust her not to perform unnecessary treatments. Very accommodating office and staff. Excellent service and everyone is really kind.

Cavities and cleanings. No pain whatsoever with the shots to numb my mouth with; Schope is terrific at making sure you have zero discomfort. It was expensive, but they were cooperative in setting up affordable payment plans with my income! during a three hour cavity procedure, they had a hot neck wrap and movie playing for me--- I'm beyond comfortable there!

About Front Desk: One staff member Sue can be snippy and rude; I don't know if she means to. But overall, everyone that has been at the front desk is so lovely.

Crowns, whitening, fillings, cleanings, treatments for sensitivity, they've done it all. The entire staff is so friendly and helpful, careful to be sure I know what's going on every step of the way. Dr. Schope is a delight, doesn't ever appear to be in a rush to finish with me so she can move on to someone else (unlike my previous dentist who almost couldn't be bothered).

About Hygienist: Hygenist(s) are just like the rest of the staff: informative, friendly, helpful, patient & kind. I can't recommend this office enough.

Most detailed Dentist I have seen...fully explains all issues and options by assisted details including pictures followed by a video summary, you'll fully understand your oral health and any recommended procedure. Very thorough with a foward-looking plan for overall health and keeping/maintaining original teeth. Clean and modern technical equipment. On-time, never left to ponder the ceiling tiles. Treated like a person, not a number here.

About Hygienist: Great cleanings-no pain or roughness, professional work.

I make an effort to drive 25++ miles to north Colorado springs because my loyalty is so great to Dr. Schope and her awesome staff. I have referred at least 3 other people to her over the years and they are all pleased. My teeth are a wreck and over the years Dr. S. has performed multiple crowns and root canals. I have never had any issues with any procedures I have had. Her office has all the latest technology and patients really appreciate being able to watch movies or listen to music while undergoing treatment. While she may be a bit higher cost-wise than going market rates I believe you get what you pay for. My trust in her is absolute.

About Hygienist: Very very gentle and yet thorough technique. NO DISCOMFORT ie swollen painful gums after a cleaning. Sometimes gets a little preachy with disapproval but all with good intentions no doubt.

Over the years I have had about 11 crowns inserted into my speaking piece, whilst being a patient of Dr. Schope, she exercised extreme sensitivity to my situation and especially the follow up. She explained all the up-fronts costs and why this procedure was necessary to my well being. I am very impressed with the Doctor's dedication to the latest dental technology. I have recommended her to many friends and they have expressed similar opinions. Her receptionist is a most refreshing change indeed, very friendly and makes everyone feel very special She handles all that insurance stuff and makes it a whiz.

About Hygienist: I have had two hygienists at the offices of Dr. Schope with the most recent one being very precise and dedicated to the job at hand. She make an ease of the cleaning, and cares about the preventive care of each patient.

She's the coolest! If you're looking for a great, personal experience, be cool and go see Dr. Schope. If I could give her a cool rating between 1 and 10, she would be a cool 11! The technology she has set up in her office is extremely cool and up to date. The temperature in her office isn't too warm, but not too cool either. Not only does she have the professionalism of an all-star athlete, but she also wears the coolest white jackets I've ever seen. Don't be a fool, be cool and get a wonderful experience with Dr. Schope!

Dr. Schope is the best dentist I have ever seen. The office is so pleasant, the staff really goes out of their way to be helpful and nice. I'm a terrible patient, but they were still really nice to me (ie, they were comforting when I was clearly terrified, offered me movies or music to help distract me, etc). I had a lot of work done in Dr. Schope's office, and everything was done well, quickly, professionally and with a minimum of pain/trauma.

Dr. Schope is into the latest technology and the office runs VERY smoothly - there is even a room with an "in-flight movie" option for people having crowns done and so forth. People are always offering you bottled water or explaining exactly what is going on, and you can see the images they take up on a screen facing you as you sit. Very interesting! The only two negatives are that 1) the big procedures are *all* above the 95th %ile of cost-for-service for this area and so not very well-covered by any dental plan, and that 2) if there is a lot of work to be done, you may find yourself out $1,500 or more (in additino to what your insurance paid) without a single *permanent* fix to any of the affected teeth. I'm sure that eventually I will get permanent fixes to these teeth, but she keeps starting a new tooth rather than putting the permanent fix in on the last one she started to repair. This leaves me very frustrated and still in some discomfort, although she's explained that she wants to treat the whole mouth at once. It also makes it less likely that a patient will go to another dentist, since so much has already been spent and everything is half-done. Avoid the $85 electric toothbrush, the $30 mouth rinses & the night guard.
